Publication design project brief required the creation of a publication promoting an exhibition. I came up with the idea of exhibition based on the evolution of Pop Art and the way the influential 1950's and 60's Pop artists, including Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein inspired and shaped artwork of the proceeding generation of contemporary artists, including Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and David Bromley.
Photographing the final garment for a RMIT fashion design student. Working with the garment and the model to capture the desired character and detail of the clothing. Used the best photos to generate pages for a small mock up publication that could be presented alongside the final garments.
I completed work experience with Est Magazine an online Australian interior styling magazine. Over the four months my role included creating PDF product layouts with contemporary furniture pieces and decor. I would then use the brand typeface selection to create headings. I sent them to the editor-in chief and she would apply them to the Est website.
This is an encyclopedia inspired infographic screen design demonstrating the life-cycle of the dragonfly. The brief required the use of interactive symbols and gestures to prompt the user. The user can reveal detailed information about a part of the lifecycle by touching one of the three images. The design was generated with the use of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
Ipad screen design task requiring the design of an educational, informative and interactive application to inform users about the endangerment of the Orange Bellied Parrot. Information included the characteristics of the species,life-cycle, diet and predators. Screen designs created in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
Weather forecast screen design in which the brief required the design of weather symbols and icons to communicate with the user visually. The design needed to include visual prompts to direct the user. Designs generated with Indesign and Illustrator.
Brief required the design of an educational pack informing users about an upcoming dinosaur exhibition at the Melbourne museum. Pack included informative concertina, small dinosaur information cards and a self-closing box that holds all items.
This is a short publication designed for Animals Australia to educate consumers about factory farming within the poultry industry. The intention of the small publication was to be brief yet informative and present statistics in a creative and captivating nature to the reader.
This subject required the design and physical assembly of a piece of furniture from a single sheet of
0.75mm sheet metal.I began with ideation sketching and continued on to test the design with small and full
size card mockups. Throughout the ten week project I finalized the table design on a 3D software program
called SolidWorks. The SolidWorks file was laser cut onto the sheet metal and I assembled it in the university
workshop. The project was completed with a charcoal powder coat and sheet of glass to rest on top.
